Polly Murphy of the Lower Paxton Township Community Foundation shared with members the upcoming events planned in Lower Paxton for 2019 and future years to come! On December 14, 2019 they will be hosting the Christkindlmarkt in Linglestown, Pennsylvania. The Lower Paxton Community Foundation is a non-profit , led by neighbors and volunteers that have been involved in the Lower Paxton Township community for many years including the 250 year celebration. The Foundation supports other organizations including the Lower Paxton Historical Commission. Polly spoke about an upcoming activity to commemorate the three military servicemen that died during a training mission when their airplane crashed in Lower Paxton Township while flying in heavy fog . That tribute will take place at Hero’s Grove at noon on May 4th. Another activity is a Christmas season outdoors street festival in Linglestown that will take place on December 14, 2019. The festival is called Christkindlmarkt and will include craft vendors, food stands, a living Nativity, live music and dance activities.
